Course is now full. If you would like to be added to the waiting list please contact us at hdfrangeday@gmail.com with your name and phone number and we will notify you if a spot opens up.
Shotgun signups are now live.

HDF is opening registration for our first shotgun class. This will be a six hour course covering the proper manipulation and employment of shotguns.

All participants must be checked in by 7:30 AM sharp on October 25th or will be unable to participate.

Range Day Schedule:
7:30AM Introductory Brief
8:00AM – 2:00pm Shotgun Course
2:00pm – 4:00pm Free Shoot

This will be a long class so we will be breaking for lunch and bring plenty of liquids for hydration. Due to demand, people who will attend this month will not be able to participate in further shotgun classes until we feel that demand has been filled.

Remember some specialty gear will be required:

Shotgun capable of holding at least 6 rounds (semi or pump).
You must be able to carry 10 additional shells on your person using ammo carriers purpose-built for holding shotgun ammunition (aka no dump pouches full of shells, but sidesaddles, bandoliers, etc. are ok).
Long pants and covered shoes are required.
Round count will be 30 Slug, 20 00 Buckshot, 200 of birdshot #7 or smaller. We recommend that the slugs and buckshot be consistent with what you use at home.

Gloves are strongly recommended. No Slings

Anyone without the required equipment on range day will be turned away.

Class Fee: $50
Funshoot only: $10
