Clark Neily – Heller(co-counsel) Event 05 NOV 2011.
Hawaii Defense Foundation presents
Clark Neily
co-counsel in D.C. v. Heller
“Gun Litigation and Judicial Engagement”
On November 5th at 5:30 p.m. Clark Neily will be conducting a presentation for the Hawaii Defense Foundation on Gun Litigation and Judicial Engagement. Every day, judges are taking it upon themselves to distort the meaning and spirit of the United States Constitution, especially in the realm of the Second Amendment. Clark will be conducting a presentation to help explain some of this and how it can affect you as a firearm owner. Mr. Neily has graciously offered his assistance in this event. Proceeds will be put towards the Foundations litigation efforts in the State of Hawaii to support our firearms lawsuit (Baker v. Kealoha et. al).
About the Speaker:
Clark Neily is a senior attorney at the Institute for Justice. He litigates economic liberty, property rights, school choice, First Amendment and other constitutional cases in both federal and state courts. Clark served as co-counsel for the plaintiffs in D.C. v. Heller,

Clark Neily III
the historic case in which the Supreme Court announced for the first time that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep guns for self-defense. He is a relentless litigator and advocate for the Second Amendment.
What we would consider the civil rights movement of the twenty-first century (the restoration of firearm rights) began with Clark. Please come out and show him some ALOHA and support the Hawaii Defense Foundation.
